Not sure if I can get those products here but will have a look around. What I've often found though is that product formulations are different between countries and those without cones sold in the US often have cones in the same product sold here. Now why is that? But I guess I could always try this with aloe vera gel or something like that.Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08923641039706647805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-49041112141265566642008-07-01T12:41:00.000-07:002008-07-01T12:41:00.000-07:00Thanks April! I remember seeing pictures of your hair when it was shorter when you would plop it to get the waves to come out. Your hair is beautiful both wavy and straight!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12676934511271640399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-67992237988183474062008-07-01T12:38:00.000-07:002008-07-01T12:38:00.000-07:00Jules, I tried the Tizz No Frizz for the first tim...Jules, I tried the Tizz No Frizz for the first time today. I have to stay that it did help a lot with the frizz, but didn't bring out the curl/wave nearly as much as the Garnier Fructis Curl Shaping Gel. Both the Aussie and Garnier Fructis gels don't have cones. The Garnier Fructis worked really well to bring out my curls. The Tizz No Frizz made my hair just barely wavy, almost straight. No frizz though! I like that! Can you find Garnier Fructis or Aussie stuff in NZ?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12676934511271640399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-25139121640819923652008-07-01T09:45:00.000-07:002008-07-01T09:45:00.000-07:00I LOVE your hair Jen! I remember when I first discovered I had some wave in my hair, I was thrilled! I didn't know they were there because I'd been perming my hair for 20 something years. Why oh why? Anyway, when my hair is about BS length I can scrunch and get great waves and volume (you can see in my siggy pic on the Loom), but not at this longer length. Yours is long and STILL wavey. Just beautiful.Aprilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13426302151686598975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-58968065208089748942008-07-01T01:22:00.000-07:002008-07-01T01:22:00.000-07:00Ok, you've got me eager to try this. Like you, I feel my hair often looks frizzy and I prefer it when I've curled it (which I'm often too lazy to do). You should see all the photos I reject before finding one to post on the Loom! and usually because my hair looks too frizzy (to me anyway - my DH is like yours and says it's not frizzy).Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08923641039706647805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-29380939215008017012008-06-30T18:31:00.000-07:002008-06-30T18:31:00.000-07:00Jules, honestly you could be my hair twin because ...Jules, honestly you could be my hair twin because your hair is so much like mine. So if you think my hair is pretty, that means yours is equally pretty :). I can tell, just from the pictures, that your hair is really wavy. I wonder if your hair would be really wavy too if you used stuff to bring out the waves? Before I started working on the waves, I couldn't stand how my hair looked when I didn't curl it. In all my Loom pictures, it was always curled with some kind of sponge rollers first. That always seemed to tame my frizz. It always looked frizzy otherwise. At least to me it looked frizzy. Jeff said it wasn't, but I just felt like it always looked frizzy. I think it looked frizzy because it was so wavy, and I wasn't using anything to help the waves. I was amazed at how little frizz I had when I used the gels this past week. I just bought an Aussie brand called Tizz No Frizz. It has no cones in it. I am going to try that next. All the stuff I bought doesn't have any cones in it, so I won't have buildup. I'm hoping I keep getting good results!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12676934511271640399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-13541444445796278492008-06-30T18:20:00.000-07:002008-06-30T18:20:00.000-07:00Thank you Schnauzermom!Thank you Schnauzermom!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12676934511271640399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-3946457538319178482008-06-29T18:23:00.000-07:002008-06-29T18:23:00.000-07:00Perhaps I should try this too. I wish my hair was either straight or curlier: I hate this not-one-or-the-other type that I've got.Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08923641039706647805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307948690637632633.post-46436467186372285052008-06-29T11:05:00.000-07:002008-06-29T11:05:00.000-07:00Wow your hair looks gorgeous, all those lovely cur...Wow your hair looks gorgeous, all those lovely curls and waves!SchnauzerMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14169794494360415699noreply@blogger.com
