I'm sitting here taking a break after a very busy day. I spent the morning homeschooling, cleaning the house and doing laundry. Once noon hit, I started making pearsauce. It is almost 6:00, and I haven't even gotten the jars into the canner yet. I forgot how much work canning pearsauce is! I hope it is worth it! It was a lot easier just freezing the pears. I'll see when I am all done. Right now all I want to do is sit, but I need to get up and get this done. Whew, I am tired!

Wow you have a right to be tired. I hope the pearsauce turns out great.
I hope the pearsauce turned out well; it sounds wonderful. And that did sound like a really busy day. But y'know - I love days like that. You are so lucky (luck isn't the right word, but hopefully you know what I mean) that you can stay at home and be full-time mom and teacher and cook and all those things. Even though it's a lot of work I bet you wouldn't change it for the world. I think it's wonderful.(And yes, I am jealous!)
Hi April! Yes, I understand what you mean. I call it "blessed" :). I do feel blessed to be able to stay home. A lot of moms have to work, so I feel very fortunate to be able to stay home, even on the tough days.
