We made Christmas cookies today, and decorated them with frosting and sprinkles. With the three of us, we got them done quickly. Then we packaged up the cookies, dipped pretzels, fudge and caramels and took packages to our neighbors. We used to do this when we lived in our previous neighborhood, and it is always fun!
Evie really wanted to eat all the cookies. I used the frosting with the beet juice coloring for her cookies. I am also going to buy some gluten free pretzels, and dip them so she and I can have them. I'm going to make some gluten free chex party mix too. We should have plenty of snacky junk foods to eat during Christmas :)!
Sierra was also getting ready for the Christmas season. Jeff was trying on her reindeer antlers to make sure they fit. She looks really excited doesn't she?

Oooo lots of goodies at your house. Your dog looks like she thinking "do we have to do this?" She looks cute though.
You are like the queen of all that's sweet...:) Wish I lived in your neighborhood:)
Oh gosh you guys are soooo cute. Though Sierra doesn't look so happy. LOL
SchauzerMom, she looks thrilled doesn't she :)? She gives that look a lot...probably because Evie is always dressing her up!
Rose, the funny thing is that we usually don't eat much sweets at all! This time I year I sortof throw all that out the window and indulge a bit. I give a whole lot of it away so we won't all have wicked cavities, sugar crashes and huge weight gains :)! Lol! If you were in the neighborhood, I would give you a heaping plate :).
Kelly, thank you! Poor Sierra. She is such a patient dog :).
Jen it looks like you guys are having a lot of fun and I LOVE your idea of taking packages to the neighbours! What a nice thing to do!!!
Oh boy does Sierra look thrilled to be a reindeer ....lol!
I tied a red bow to Ernies collar ... the kids got a kick out of it.
