Frogs and hair

Interesting title huh? We have this adorable frog that is living in our hot tub. We keep taking him out when Evie goes in to play in the hot tub, and he keeps on coming back. I guess he thinks it is his nice warm pond. So far Evie hasn't named him yet. We had a bee that was living by the hot tub that kept boring a hole underneath our deck seat. It would come and hover over Evie while she swam, and Evie got so used to it that she named it Charlotte. Jeff tried to kill Charlotte about 20 times, and even sprayed the thing several times with wasp killer. Nothing could kill it, so it became Charlotte, our bee friend!

I took some pictures last night of my crazy hair. They aren't the best pictures in the world. I hadn't combed my hair all day, and hurried to take the pictures. My hair is just confused I think. It isn't sure whether it wants to be curly or straight.

This side wants to be straight, and is always like that. It is hard to get the waves to stay. I would prefer my hair to all be like this side! Notice that the underneath hairs are all curly/wavy.

This side is my curly/wavy side. I can get corkscrew curls out of this side if I work at it. It looks funky though with my side that is straight!

I decided I want to try and grow to classic length. It has been several years since I was at that length. Evie was probably about a year old last time I was that long. If I tip my head way back, that is classic length for me :). I am about 4 inches away from classic length. I just wish my hair would make up it's mind about being curly vs. straight!

Awwwww! Evie and the frog are sooo cute. I used to play with frogs as a child and loved them too. I can't wait to find out what she names it.

You hair is so beautiful fo me. I'm about 4 or 5 inches away from classic too. Yours is thicker so will look much prettier (fuller is pretty to me, can't help it) than mine I think. I can't wait to see it longer again.

We're never happy are we?! I think your hair is gorgeous. I l-o-v-e your waves and wish I could steal them. It's gonna look fantastic at classic length (makes me want to try for classic now).

That little frog is so cute, he probably wonders why that giant keeps getting into his pond.

Your hair is gorgeous and will look gorgeous at classic too!

That frog picture is too cute! Evie is darling! She should name the frog, "Prince", LOL!

Someone mentioned your hair pictures, so I had to run over to see! It looks gorgeous as always. I'm trying not to be jealous! Your hair is beautiful at all the lengths you've had it. In fact, we met because you wrote to ask my opinion about cutting back! That was a long time ago wasn't it!

I will have to send Evie a picture of the frog my brother found tonight. I didn't touch this one because I wasn't sure if it was poisonous or not. It was pretty big, almost the size of my whole hand! Anyway... if I get that resized, I'll email it to her.

Have a great night!

April: So far she hasn't named the frog :). Maybe I will ask her next time she sees him/her. Thank you for your very nice compliments. Yours is already so stunning, so I doubt mine will turn heads nearly as much as yours!!

Jules: Thank you. You realize though that we have almost the same waves? When I see a picture of your hair, it just looks like a darker version of mine!

SM: It's funny, but the frog doesn't seem to mind Evie holding him. I have no idea how to tell if a frog is a boy or girl! LOL! Thank you for your very nice compliments regarding my hair.

Fox: That is such a cute idea to name the frog "Prince"! I'm not sure if Evie has ever seen a picture of a poisonous frog, so she would probably be really fascinated. We don't have any of those where we live! Thank you for what you wrote. I keep yo-yo'ing over the years about hair length don't I :)? If not for the tangles, it would not be such an issue!
